Impact millions of users through cutting-edge AI in cameras and AR Work with global R&D teams in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment Requirements Key Responsibilities: Research and develop advanced computer vision models (e.g., object detection, segmentation, generative AI, multi-modal understanding) for OPPO's hardware and software system Optimize models for mobile deployment (e.g., quantization, pruning, NPU acceleration) to achieve efficiency on edge devices Drive GenAI applications (e.g., image/video generation, enhancement, or personalized content) from prototyping to production Collaborate with product teams to integrate CV/ML solutions into OPPO's camera, and gallery platforms Publish cutting-edge research at top-tier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc.) and patent novel technologies Analyze trillion-scale visual data to improve model robustness and user experience Qualifications: Minimum: PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field Strong Python/C++ skills and experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow Hands-on CV/ML project experience (e.g., object detection, generative models, or mobile deployment) Knowledge of model optimization techniques (pruning, distillation, etc.) Preferred: 3+ years of industry experience deploying models on edge devices Publications at top conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV) or patents in CV/ML Expertise in mobile ML stacks (TensorFlow Lite, Qualcomm SNPE, MediaTek APU) Familiarity with Multimodality and Large Multimodal Models (vision-language) Benefits OPPO is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$300,000 + bonus + long term incentives benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
