Apple’s Employee Experience and Productivity group is seeking a Functional Engineer in Austin, Texas to lead Revenue and Reconciliation projects. Description The Corporate Systems group at Apple develops innovative business solutions to meet the needs of Apple Finance, iTunes, App Store, Sales, Retail, Apple Care, and Apple Online. Our solutions handle high-volume micro-transactions from iTunes and App Store downloads, iPhone activations, retail and online sales, resellers, and more. We utilize cutting-edge enterprise technologies including Server Side Java, Web Technologies, Cocoa, iOS, Oracle, and No-SQL Databases. Our strength lies in accurately processing these high-volume transactions. We seek a self-starter with strong analytical and leadership skills, excellent communication abilities for collaboration across teams, and the capacity to deliver top-tier solutions in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of proven experience in software development and integration. 3+ years experience across the full software development lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications Strong communication skills to propose designs, seek feedback, and iterate with business teams. Proficiency in data handling, debugging, and creating reusable, maintainable solutions. Ability to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas and issues effectively. Good understanding of Java, Linux, database querying, and scripting technologies. Hands-on experience with implementation or integration projects. Experience with scripting languages like Python and system integrations. Attention to detail in assessing business requirements.
