Position Overview: Our rapidly evolving IT department is in search of a Data Protection (Backup & Recovery) Senior Engineer with excellent time management skills and a consistent track record of setting and reaching team goals! We’re looking for a candidate with Data Protection Engineering experience who can assist with and lead the design and implementation of Backup, Recovery, and Ransomware protection solutions. Our Impact: We design and implement Backup and Recovery solutions that support a wide range of applications in a hybrid Cloud environment. We strive to prevent service impacts in a wide-ranging and constantly evolving ecosystem, assure rapid recoverability from any impacts to business and services We strategize and transform IT with Automation and Process Engineering Your Impact: Provide Data Protection proactively to ensure the stability and security of the platform. Identify, influence, and Implement technology changes that modernize and make our infrastructure more effective and reliable. Collaborate with senior leadership to assure transparent communication, risk reduction and accountability for the performance of the team. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies preferred 5+ years of engineering experience with Enterprise Data Protection and Ransomware Protection products including Dell DPS Suite, Avamar, Data Domain, in a hybrid Cloud environment History of supporting AWS Native Backup and AWS Backup Vault Ability to drive accountability and continuous improvement for individual and team performance Communicates well within the team to set clear goals and effectively relays the status and accomplishments to management Must not only lead current technical trends but also anticipate and analyze future state technologies Demonstrable experience automating common processes via Ansible or comparable automation tools Proven collaborative mindset and troubleshooting experience in order to guide the Backup Operations Center Previous experience with TSM or other Data Protection tools a plus Experience with and/or knowledge of CyberRecovery Vault design, implementation, and administration Experience with other data protection tools such as Cohesity, Rubrik, Veritas, or Commvault is a plus Keys to Success in this Role: Communicates and influences very effectively Demonstrates deep job specific knowledge and methodologies to drive effective change and transform how work is performed Elevates team members via mentoring and knowledge sharing Top influencer for other IT and business partners Significant contributions to strategy and objectives using knowledge leadership for areas of responsibility Thinks beyond individual sphere We consider all applicants for all positions without regard to gender, race, color, religion, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, physical and mental disability, pregnancy, ethnicity, genetic information or any other protected categories under applicable federal, state or local laws. This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $122,000 - $184,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
